Amber heat health alert 8-12 July

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has issued an Amber Heat Health Alert for all regions in England, from 9am on Wednesday 8 July until 9pm on Sunday 12 July. Rising temperatures may increase health risks, particularly for vulnerable groups. The Customer Assurance Board is a new group set up to hold DMBC Housing Services to account for delivering the Customer Involvement and Engagement Strategy and associated action plan.

The focus is to provide assurance for customers that their views are listened to, and that there is effective customer involvement, influence and impact around compliance with the government's consumer standards.

This involves key priorities such as:

  • Reviewing and monitoring performance in relation to customer experience
  • Ensuring that the customer perspective is included as part of the decision-making process
  • Provide customer contributions into areas such as value for money, regulatory compliance, complaints and service improvements
