Supporting those affected by the Stourbridge wildfire

Following the recent wildfire in Stourbridge and Pedmore, many residents, businesses and community organisations have contacted us asking how they can help support those affected.

The response from our communities has been overwhelming, with many people offering assistance, donations and messages of support for local families impacted by the fire.

To provide a simple and secure way for people to contribute, a Crowdfunder page has been established. Donations will help support those affected by the wildfire as recovery efforts continue.

Message from Cllr Ed Lawrence, portfolio holder responsible for emergency planning

We know this has been a difficult and unsettling time for residents affected by the fire and that many people are looking for regular information about what happens next.

These daily briefings will provide a dedicated opportunity for affected residents to hear the latest updates and ask questions in the chat.

We would encourage anyone who has been impacted by the incident, or is representing someone who has, to join us.

To make sure those who need information most can access the briefings and have the opportunity to ask questions, we ask that only residents directly affected by the fire, or their representatives, attend.
