Amber heat health alert 8-12 July

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has issued an Amber Heat Health Alert for all regions in England, from 9am on Wednesday 8 July until 9pm on Sunday 12 July. Rising temperatures may increase health risks, particularly for vulnerable groups. Maintenance of existing markings and signs

Road markings and signs on our roads are an essential aid to assist in road safety, providing directions and other information. Maintenance is important in making sure they work as intended

  • Renewing worn or defective yellow/white lines.
  • Repainting previous yellow/white lines, H markings or other lines and markings following resurfacing.
  • Renewing worn, damaged or defective traffic signs.
  • Replacing vandalised or stolen signs.
