Amber heat health alert 8-12 July

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has issued an Amber Heat Health Alert for all regions in England, from 9am on Wednesday 8 July until 9pm on Sunday 12 July. Rising temperatures may increase health risks, particularly for vulnerable groups. In February 2023 the Department for Education (DfE) advertised and promoted their free, flexible, online Early Years Child Development training aimed at helping childminders, nursery practitioners and nursery managers to refresh and strengthen their child development knowledge.

The first 5 modules of the training covering child and brain development, personal, social and emotional development, communication and language and physical development are available and can now be completed in any order.
