Amber heat health alert 8-12 July
The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has issued an Amber Heat Health Alert for all regions in England, from 9am on Wednesday 8 July until 9pm on Sunday 12 July. Rising temperatures may increase health risks, particularly for vulnerable groups. Being neurodivergent or having a neurodivergent family member can be positive, but can also be confusing at times, especially when family members don’t understand what their child or young person is experiencing.
The charity Contact has a page on their website which explains what dyslexia is and how it impacts on everyday life, which could be useful to signpost older members of your family to.
