SEND resource provisions are specialised support services provided within mainstream schools to help children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). These provisions offer tailored support to meet the individual needs of learners, enabling them to access the curriculum and participate fully in school life. The support may include specialised teaching, access to specific resources, and assistance from trained staff. The goal is to ensure that learners with SEND can achieve their full potential in an inclusive environment.

All AS Base Learners aspire to achieve GCSEs, so they can progress to further education and have a future career.
The AS Base is situated next to the Learning Support Hub and is surrounded by a landscaped garden area, where pupils grow, harvest and prepare produce as part of their life skills training.
