Long term and emergency accommodation for young people aged 16 - 25 years of age.
The YMCA Open Door Project places young people with hosts who provide both long term and emergency accommodation.
The project provides the stability that young people need to enable them to move forward in their life journey, one step at a time. Hosts come from a variety of different backgrounds, from single people to married couples and families with children. The scheme is supported by Dudley Council and we currently need more hosts in the Dudley borough to provide a safe place for young people. Full training and financial support is provided.
YMCA is running preparation courses for anyone interested in finding out more about becoming a host.
